White as Snow!   (January 25, 2009 7:57 AM)

I woke up this morning to about 4-5 inches of freshly fallen snow. We have had a lot of snow this year and personally, I am ready for spring. At least this snow was the really light and fluffy stuff so it was easy to shovel and I didn't have to go to work. It also makes things white and beautiful looking, covering all the other partially melted and dirty snow and ice that we already had. It reminds me of what the Bible says in Isaiah 1:18; "Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

The snow we had this beautiful Sunday morning reminds me that through the blood of Jesus all that stuff that has made me dirty will be made clean and I will be made pure. Thanks God for your salvation and for the snow as a reminder of your truth; Jesus Paid it All.
